Heaven Skincare

My highlight this week was being part of the LFW Bloggers Hangout Event and I had the best time! I met so many like-minded people and very talented bloggers as well. The location was a bit smaller than expected but it was very crowded and the room was filled with good energy, passion and inspiration!
The very first stand I went to when I arrived was Deborah Mitchell's Heaven Skincare. Lauren was really friendly and welcoming and explained all the details about the products. Their skincare is based on a range of anti-ageing, all-natural skincare containing organic ingredients as Deborah Mitchell is a beauty therapist who created her own all-natural organic products along other beauty treatments. The products have been developed for a radiant to help heal skin conditions, from blemishes to eczema. To make it short: Everything organic sounds good to me since I have very sensitive combination skin that adapts to the weather.
I have only started using the products on Monday but in all honesty, I can already see changes on my skin. It looks much clearer and is softer and seem to control oil breakouts, which I have quite often. The hydrogel contains my two favourite ingredients in skin products: Organic Lavender and Organic Coconut. It also contains Organic Peppermint, which I found very interesting at first but it is cooling on the skin and it balances oily and dry skin. The gel is a toner and also cleans, primes and hydrates, meaning it makes the skin smooth, shine free and keeps the pores closed. I use it after washing my face with a cleanser and apply it with a cotton wool. My skin feels very soft and refreshed after using it but I have to say I'm not a big fan of the peppermint, nonetheless, it's a great product!

Lauren gave me another product to try at home after I've told her that my skin is very sensitive, adapts to the weather and about my pigmentation. The SOS Oil Serum is based on all organic Grape seeds, Sunflower and Olive Oil and contains Organic Carrot Oil, Organic Calendula Absolute. I feel like this is the product I have been missing all along. I'm usually more the basic type and use coconut oil before I go to sleep or my Sephora anti-aging night cream. I mix it with my night cream and use only one or two drops. My skin feels very clean and hydrated in the morning and it seem to help fading my pigmentation and blemishes. (I used Bi Oil before, which was very good as well) The oil contains Vitamin A, B, E and beta Carotene, which treats acne, repairs damaged skin cells, hydrates and protects your skin form ageing. The best thing is, that you can use this oil even with shampoo for dry hair ends and add it to your hand cream. I can really recommend this product!

As I was speaking to Lauren, I saw someone getting her eyebrows tinted and obviously I was immediately interested since these days it's all about the eyebrow game. My eyebrows are never ON FLEEK though, lol. I had never tried it before but heard a lot of good things about it and I just recently read a blog where it was recommended. I am very satisfied with the result and don't even have to be too bothered to leave the house without doing my eyebrows since there's already colour on it. I can recommend this to anyone who already has a nice eyebrow shape, then you really don't have to do anything anymore. I've only had it for some days now but the colour is supposed to last up to 4 weeks.
Here's a little video on how it was done.

I hope you liked my review and I'll be posting very soon again!

. F O C U S .

I always like to spend a Sunday in bed with a nice healthy breakfast and a good book trying to figure out my next moves, thinking about my life and goals and how to reach them. This is important and everyone should be able to take time to revaluate their situation and think about where they wanna go and be in the future.

Story time: When I moved to the UK at the age of 24, almost 25, I still didn't know what I want in life. Moving to another country felt like a new start, I felt young, free and and ready to experience. No one forces you to exactly know what you want at a certain age, it's only society who's trying to dictate those things. It is difficult in this world full of passion and opportunities to decide on what you wish to do for the rest of your life in your 20s, some might know from when they were little, but others just wanted to see first what's out there and what they really like doing. And there are also your parents who try to influence you on your decisions, they want you to do what's "right" in their perception. But that might not always what you're passionate about and you get confused. It's at least good to know in which direction you wanna go and keep on reading up on the topics you're interested in and develop your own passion and focus on it. Don't let anyone rush you, you know yourself best when the time has come, because God chooses it for you.

The book I'm currently reading is very inspiring and motivates and encourages me to fulfil my dreams. You know, it's one of those book when you finish reading it, you just wanna get up and get started right now on whatever you're thinking about. Lala Anthony is speaking about career and success and maybe you can benefit from her experience and advices.
Keep your head up and follow your dreams!

Valentine's Day - Last Minute Gifts!

#HintHint

It's already Valentine's Day is all about love and being all mushy on the 14th of February! You get flowers, chocolates, a teddy and probably go on a date with you significant other or that hot new guy who asked you out ;) You can't buy love but you can at least buy the things you like for the people you love... or let someone buy them for you, lol. Giving hints is not a bad thing and everyone rather receives something they really want instead of something they'll never use.
I am currently obsessed with rose gold, just right for Valentine's, so there are definitely some things on my list ;)
I've picked some things you might wanna put on your wish list or you wanna give to a friend because on Vday everyone deserves a little LOVE! <3

Happy Valentine's Day!

Greystyle!

Ok, I admit...! I'm obsessed with grey, lol... as you guys have probably noticed looking on my Instagram. Grey is not only for the grey days, it's a colour that makes me feel comfortable and cozy and is just so easy to style. I usually style grey with in rather sporty outfit, but this time I was just mixing my favourite grey pieces of clothes together. Grey on black, grey on white, grey on red, grey on nude colours but in this case it's simply grey on grey. Travelling to Dublin last weekend had me not being able to just walk by Zara.. Of course not! I had to go in and found this beautiful light grey waterfall wool coat. I just had to buy it..! Because I don't have enough coats, right, lol. To stay in the same colour palate I chose this ribbed lace-up body, which has a comfy material but is also very daring and sexy. Using another shade of grey, I chose this dark grey rouched jersey skirt. There are so many jersey skirts in my wardrobe, I can't even count no more. I love wearing skirts and jersey skirts are just comfortable and practical in every way. You can never go wrong with them. But they can also be very tricky. They show all you flaws and what is better to do against it than wearing spandex? Nothing really. It makes you look flawless and you can comfortably leave the house.
